you mentioning humility and Zen got me to thinking about the concept of surrender and how that can bring peace to one's life.....and, in a related way, about an old Dylan song where he says " deceived me into thinking that ive got something to protect"
Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I’m younger than that now

I think humility and a confidence to drop your guard go hand and hand.....i mean really, what do we have to protect?

Father C, Thank you for your beautiful prayers at the retirement ceremony for my brother Capt Dean Krestos and his family. Your blog on honoring people thru heartfelt prayer was an inspiring one. Wishing you continued success thru your ministry. God Bless You Always!

Indeed--I often "speak to power," and it indeed requires some "boldness"!

I enjoyed reading your blog. It was uplifting. In a world with a lot of negative everywhere you turn around, we need a little positive reality check with God.

Mark, I should give credit where it's due. This "electronic expansion" comes thanks to Chris Dilios. I asked him to set up a blog for me to go with our website and within hours he had set it up. Thank you, Chris!

I have to compliment you on your fatherly love and wisdom. You continue to inspire me through your unique ministry. Clearly, one must use the tools God has given him to accomplish one's goals. In this case, I compliment you for this electronic expansion of your most successful ministry. I really enjoy your perspective on prayer and spirituality. God grant you many years!
